GÉRARD BERTRAND Coteaux du Languedoc La Clape Château l'Hospitalet La Reserve 2005 (90 points, $22)
A robust red, with good definition to the berry, cherry and plum flavors. There's also plenty of spicy notes, with mineral and chocolate on the finish. Well-balanced and nicely structured. Drink now through 2010. 6,000 cases made.
